We emerge from between fang and claw, but we are far from unscathed. Our city lies firmly in the grasp of the Sabbat, its former Camarilla leaders hiding like mice in a hole. This hole, however, is claimed by the devoted descendants of the Lord Of Storms. And not even the Sabbat seems willing to risk those coils.

The Brotherhood has not returned, and another Bishop, hand selected by the shadowy master of St. Louis now holds Burlington in an unflinching grip. The chaos exploited by many sabbat leaders has been abandoned here, in favor of an iron-clad and merciless order. Bishop Darian has won over the local Sword Of Caine swiftly, and has entrenched herself for a lengthy reign. How will the returning Sabbat packs adjust to the meticulous order of this new Bishop?

And what of the Camarilla? Within the sanctuary of Bastion Rashad, an uneasy peace lingers on. But outside those walls the struggle continues. Theo Bell, dreaded Archon of the Brujah has ceasely waged a private guerilla war against the Sabbat. But the oppressive quiet that followed in the Bishop's wake has quieted even his efforts, leading many to wonder yet again if "Killa B" has fallen. Will a leader emerge to bring the Camarilla to its feet once again?

And Olivia Giovanni. For over a year, we have watched the silent pilgrimage of strangers converge on her forbidden island. Now, across the globe, the very heart of Clan Giovanni seems to be under attack. What game is the methuselah playing? And how can our city endure its final movements?
